Group | Holds the entities to which users are added. | School, Class, Cohort |
Administrator | A site-level dashboard user who can create groups, add users, and make assignments. | PI, research assistant |
User | A participant user of the dashboard who logs in to do tasks. | Child, Caregiver, Teacher |
Assignment | A collection of tasks assigned to a group (site, school, class, or cohort). | All of the reading tasks are bundled into a single assignment for children in a particular cohort or class |
Task | An individual assessment activity. | Math, Vocabulary, Stories, Survey, etc. |
Variant | A version of a task with a particular parameter or set of items. | Adaptive version of the Vocabulary task in Spanish |
This diagram shows the relationship between groups, users, and assignments. Users belong to a group. Assignments belong to a group. Users belong to an assignment via group(s).
